About The Employer - A leading community provider for Indigenous community Support Services to Indigenous people in the Pilbara. Services include housing, early childhood, education, municipal services, sport, family and community projects.
Position Specifics - The Housing Coordinator supports the Housing team to deliver case management support to participants of our housing program in the Pilbara. Additionally the Coordinator provides mentoring and training to the housing program’s Pilbara-based staff, while ensuring accurate record keeping and documentation in line with policies and procedures. Maintaining and develop relationships with external stakeholders.
Skill Sets May Include:
- Experience with working within community Support Services and or community housing
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work with Indigenous communities
- Computer literacy with ability to use electronic patient databases
- Knowledge of WA Residential Tenancy Act ’87 and related legislative requirements
- A passion for engaging and building relationships within the community
