In-House Project Coordinator - Wa

We currently have a vacancy for a Project Co-ordinator to join our team! The role is a full-time position – based on-site at both the client site and the DHL office. (4 days per week onsite at the client facility & 1 day per week based at DHL Perth Facility)

Overall Role Purpose
As an Inhouse Project Co-ordinator in our team, you will be responsible for:

• Liaise with shipping lines, agents, trucking companies, and project clients globally in the coordination of freight movements.
• Maintenance and update of freight movement records on the DHL & Client Tracking Systems.
• Validation and Verification of shipment documentation, permit requirements, and licenses.
• Key Focal Point for Client and DHL Internal Stakeholders.
• Preparation of shipment pre-alert packets for customs clearance and transport.
• Work closely with the Operations Manager and Account Manager on continuous improvement.
• Positively contribute to promoting safe and best practices with regards to HSE/Compliance within DGF Group, its Clients, Subcontractors, and affiliates.

To be successful in the role, your skills and experience will include:
Essential:

• Minimum three (3) to five (5) years previous experience in a similar position
• Previous Freight Forwarding industry exposure and experience
• Two (2) to three (3) years of freight forwarding experience ideally in a Project Environment.
• Desirable – House Project coordination experience
• Desirable – Oil & Gas Experience
• Excellent Communication skills (English), spoken and written
• Strong Interpersonal and rapport-building skills - partnering with the wider DHL business
• Business understanding; strategy, processes, knowledge
