China Eastern Airlines Co., Ltd. is a prominent airline in China, recognized as one of the three major airlines in the country. With its hub located in Shanghai, the airline holds a strong presence in the Oceania region. Presently, we operate nine direct routes to China from Oceania, offering up to 50 weekly direct flights during peak periods.

Position: HR & Admin Officer
Location: Sydney City Office
In this role: Reporting to HR & Admin Manager, this position is primarily responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of HR and administrative support services to ensure efficient operation of the office.
Responsibilities will include:
Manage the HR daily operation and liaise HR consultants regarding relevant issue
Support the manager in the recruitment, onboarding and probation review process
Assist to manage the employee filing and annual performance review
Assist with Contract management
Review and Audit of company HR and Administration related bills (AR and AP)
Organise the training for the local team as required by HQ
The company's internal administrative work is not limited to office property management, handling of internal office affairs, purchase of daily office supplies and furniture, handling of employee work affairs, etc.
Other relevant tasks assigned by line manager
Skills and experience:
Previous administration and HR experience
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal in both Chinses and English
Excellent organisation and time management skills
Intermediate skills in Word, Excel & PowerPoint
High level of attention to detail and the desire to maintain a high standard of work
A flexible nature with the ability to take on very broad responsibilities
Tertiary qualifications
Any HR or admin related certificates will be highly regarded
All candidates must provide the evidence to show the right to work in Australia. Due to the high Chinese Passenger Volume and many of them without English ability, candidates need strong Chinese language ability.
