What's on Offer?

This is a Full-Time Opportunity from 12pm-8pm. 

Known internally as HR Business Partner you will act as an initial point of contact, build and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships. Working collaboratively with our Processing Centre (warehouse) team and be responsible for providing day-to-day tactical and operational support.

Duties/ Responsibilities

• Provide sound and solid advice on all people matters, including interpretation of policies and procedures and support managers with people decisions
• Managing Associate relations matters with the support of the HR Manager
• Ability to research and interpret local Enterprise Agreements, Award conditions, the Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards and provide sound and consistent advice to your client group and support functions
• Supporting with the recruitment and onboarding of new Associates, and actively engaging leadership on the identification of internal talent to support career pathways.

Skills/ Experience

• 3+ year’s generalist HR experience. Warehousing and Logistics background is preferred with experience in unionised workforces
• Strong knowledge of Australian Industrial Relations and Employment Relations legislation and requirements
• Demonstrated knowledge in compliance, talent attraction, development and movement, driving performance, employee relations and engagement
• Proven interpersonal, negotiation, influencing and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders 
• Demonstrated excellent time management and organisational skills, and the ability to adapt and thrive in a position with constantly changing requirements and priorities
