This role will be working closely with the Transition Project Manager and HR department, providing high-quality human resource services and advice to support the achievement of organisational objectives and enhance workforce capability.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the position description framework and the SFIA model and apply them to analyse, design, and review roles across the organization, specifically in the information and technology space.
- Work collaboratively with managers and staff on position description development and role classification, specifically in the information and technology space.
- Write clear, concise, and accurate position descriptions that reflect the role purpose, key responsibilities, skills, and capabilities required for each role, in consultation with Branch Managers aligning with HR policies and procedures of the department and proposed future state of the Directorate.
- Provide support to managers across the Directorate with the transition of roles
- Prepare reports and presentations on progress and outcomes and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.
- Consultation with other human resource teams and managers to support the engagement of staff transitioning from another organisation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the position description framework and the SFIA model and their application to human resource management.
- Demonstrated ability to write effective information and technology position descriptions that meet the needs of the organisation and the staff.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret human resource data and information and provide insights and recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences using various methods and tools.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and changing environment.
