The ability to engage with senior leaders, provide strategic advice and influence outcomes is core to the success of this role, as is the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues across the Commonwealth. Within the People Services function, the APS6 HR Business Partner is accountable under broad direction to perform complex HR work.
The HR Business Partner will: * ensure the NDIS Commission remains compliant with its legislative obligations;
- work independently with the opportunity for reasonable autonomy and accountability for the achievement of outcomes;
- exercise both initiative and judgement in the interpretation of policy and in the application of practices and procedures;
- provide accurate, timely and plain English HR advice to contribute to strategic planning, program and project management and the development of policy;
- effectively engage with stakeholders in relation to complex issues, anticipating and responding to stakeholder needs and expectations to achieve the section’s and the NDIS Commission’s outcomes;
