ManpowerGroup Defence & Aerospace are collaborating with one of Australia’s trusted capability partners for the Australian Defence Force. Due to exciting growth across the country, we are seeking a smart and energised Human Resources Business Partner who is seeking to utilise their strong consulting skills and HR knowledge to really contribute to the advancement of the business they support.
As the HR Business Partner embedded to support one line of business, you will be partnering with Business Managers and Leadership teams to identify, develop and implement solutions across a range of HR activities including recruitment, workforce planning and performance management. You will be consulting with these leaders to assist advance the practices and initiatives within the business unit from an HR perspective.
This role will see you providing a consultancy and advisory service to managers and employees on people issues and ensure adherence to policy, procedures, and statutory obligations in addition to focusing on business progress and improvement. Whilst embedding within a business unit, you will have the support of the broader HR and People and Culture teams to support you and your initiatives.
The role is based in Henderson, WA, however some travel inter/intra state will be required. Onsite parking is provided.
Key Responsibilities
· Support Business Leaders by linking people and culture initiatives to business goals, including support and guidance on employee engagement and change management initiatives.
· Coach and support leaders by providing consistent and timely advice regarding disputes and grievances, performance management and termination of employment, and ensure organisational compliance with relevant legislation, industrial instruments, and policy.
· Collaborate with hiring managers and our Talent Acquisition team in the recruitment process; assist with job design, re-orgs and classification of roles as required. Be hands on in recruitment where required.
· Manage the company's performance management process for you client group, this includes reporting, supporting staff and leaders, and systems training.
· Project manage the implementation of HR continuous improvement initiatives and programs across your client group to ensure timely, consistent, and successful implementation.
· Establish and maintain trusted working relationships with Raytheon Australia business leaders.
Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
· Requires a University Degree in Human Resources, or Human Resources/business-related discipline, or equivalent experience
· Minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience
· Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary HR practices/legislation and their application in the workplace
· Proven experience in successful recruitment to support the delivery of business outcomes is expected.
· Sound knowledge of employee relations theory, frameworks, principles, policies and practices and the ability to interpret and apply them.
· Strong leadership and influencing qualities, providing key stakeholders with sound HR advice.
· Ability to balance strategic and tactical priorities.
· Demonstrated ability to build relationships.
· Display a consultative approach to engagement and a proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
You must be and Australian citizen and/or eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSVA Security Clearance to be considered for this role.
