Oz Airports specialises in providing staff to support airport upgrades and airport maintenance projects across Australia. We are seeking an HR Business Partner to join our team. This position is full time, work from home and is the go-to person for all employee-related issues. People are our most important asset. Your tasks and responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues
- Manage the recruitment and selection process (with the assistance of an HR Coordinator).
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organisation
- Nurture a positive working environment
- Oversee and manage a performance management system that drives high performance
- Maintain Employment Hero and Xero Payroll
- Ensure compliance to all relevant workplace legislation including (not limited to) the Fair Work Act 2009 and all related legislation.
Your skills and experience
Essential :
- Proven working experience in responsible and accountable human resources roles
- Proven working experience/qualifications in payroll (Xero preferred)
- People oriented and results driven
- Demonstratable experience in HR/IR Employee Relations
- Demonstrable experience in Award interpretation and understanding of the Fair Work Act 2009
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases and how they are used to manage HR within an organisation.
- A responsible and accountable person who uses their strong HR knowledge to ensure Oz Airports looks after their people and maintain compliance with all workplace legislation at all times.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Superior communication skills
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels
- In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practices
- Knowledge of performance management frameworks
- Strong recruitment knowledge and best practice recruitment
