Job Description

What You'll Do

We currently have a 12-month maximum term parental leave contract opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partnerthat will see you provide will use human-centred thinking to drive HR programs and talent initiatives forward while always ensuring the initiatives are align to the NRMA’s strategic objectives. 

Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, the role contributes to the success of People and Culture (“P&C”) deliverables through strategic thinking, tactical execution and collaboration across many teams.

This role offers hybrid work arrangements from our Sydney CBD and Sydney Olympic Park offices with the flexibility to work from home as agreed and required.

Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Collaborate with key business stakeholders to interpret business needs in line with strategic P&C initiatives 
  • Support the successful delivery of people plan initiatives (i.e., talent, structure, culture, process) while collaborating with peers to ensure consistency with Group strategy
  • Ensure ongoing partnership with Senior Business Partners and stakeholders to monitor, execute, and continue to evolve and inform the people plan
  • Utilise change management and project management skills to ensure the successful implementation of key projects
  • Review and revise initiatives subject to success metrics and bespoke business needs
  • Play a key role in managing and delivering cyclical People activities (goals & objectives, annual review, talent mapping, etc)
  • Actively gather data and provide insights to key stakeholders identifying trends & themes to support people initiatives, measure their success and support commercial decision making
  • Collaborate with the Senior Business Partner and key business stakeholders to identify and design optimal business structures, capability, and ways of working

What You'll Bring

  • Strong experience working in an HR partner capacity and championing people and culture
  • Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal) with demonstrated ability to consult and influence a broad range of stakeholders
  • Curious, customer-centric & innovative mindset
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret and utilise a range of data
  • Ability to solve complex problems and comfort working in ambiguity.
