Your new employerSouth Australia Police (SAPOL) provides a diverse range of services to the community. These services are aimed at producing a safe and peaceful environment by the minimisation of crime and disorder. It is a large complex organisation which, because of the nature of its operations, is constantly subject to public scrutiny and accountability. It provides services to a range of different locations (over 100) spread across the State on a 24 hour a day basis.

About you
- You enjoy building collaborative working relationships and partnerships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- You are passionate about the value of delivering HR support to your portfolio and you have experience across a broad range of HR expertise; including employee and industrial relations, policy and procedure implementation, performance management, work related and non-work related medical matters, classification and job design.
- You are a team player, but with the ability to work independently to set priorities, achieve objectives, and meet deadlines, often in a context of competing priorities and expectations.
- You have strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to prepare briefings and reports that highlight options and risk for executives and senior managers on complex issues.
- You are solutions focussed and experienced in providing advice on both strategic and operational matters with an ability analyse and solve complex situations and problems, and apply practical solutions to achieve business outcomes.
- You have a sound knowledge and understanding of contemporary HR practices, approaches and strategies, and their application with the SA Public Sector, including an understanding of relevant employment frameworks.

Special Conditions
- The incumbent must hold a current Australian work eligibility status and will be subject to a criminal history check.
- The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Some out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.
- The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL’s iEngage program.
SalaryASO6 - $97,022 - $102,626 per annum.
