HR Business Partner - Support operations across Brisbane and Regional Queensland - Permanent Opportunity

Your new role
This is a newly created role as the HR Business Partner for QLD. Based out of their busy production and distribution facility in Brisbane's Southside, you will partner with their Commercial Operations Team to support across the areas of employee and industrial relations, leadership and talent development, talent acquisition, and workforce engagement. This will include:
- Contribute to development and implementation of HR strategic initiatives
- Provide support to managers on employee relations, performance management, award interpretation and legislation and ensure any matters are dealt with in line with company policies and procedures
- Provide coaching and development to managers to enhance their leadership capability
- Development and analysis of HR metrics
- Develop and implement communication and engagement initiatives
- Support with talent acquisition across your region as required
What you'll need to succeed
You will be experienced working as an HR BP/Consultant/Manager within a blue-collar environment such as manufacturing, logistics or FMCG. You will have demonstrated skills in employee relations and the application of employment legislation and awards, and the ability to work collaboratively with local and regional managers.
Strong interpersonal skills are needed, with an ability to be clear and confident in your advice, and to be able to communicate with stakeholders across a broad range of socio-economic and cultural groups.
