Our client within the Professional / Financial services sector, they are looking for an HR Business Partner.
The reason this role has come to be is because the incumbent who we placed there 2 years ago has decided it's time to go back home overseas.
This is a critical role in a fast-paced environment, the company going through growth and change so this is not for people who like to be drip-fed their daily objectives, must be a self-starter!

Reporting to the Executive HR Manager, down to earth, full of energy & will support you but expects accountability and transparency. Also will work collaboratively with executives and senior managers.
The HR team has grown over the last 2 years, and currently has:
- HR Business Partner (This Role)
- Executive HR (reporting to)
- HR Admin
- HR Coordinator

- Work with Executive/Strategic Management to build and implement human resources solutions in line with business strategy
- Manage the delivery of recommendations and solutions covering multiple areas of human resources, including employment/education training, employee development, communications, compensation, benefits, record administration, affirmative action, employee or labour relations, organisational or resource planning, organisational change management or other services
- Manage the recruitment process > not a high volume area and the BAU is supported by HR Coordinator & Admin
- Providing interpretation and counsel to Executive/Strategic Management regarding recruitment policies, programs, and practices
- Identifying areas of long-term strategic development within the human resources environment
- Developing and implementing new policies, practices, and programs to meet organisational and Executive/Strategic Management needs
About you:
This is an interesting role as it's a fairly fast-moving environment, that has matured a lot but still more to go. They do need someone who can adapt and change as things will...but the GM is looking for someone who can get things done but also think about the future, and bring energy and new ways of working to in order to grow with the business.

- Knowledge of Fair Work & Banking & Finance Awards
- 5 years experience as an HR Business Partner
- Management, leadership, team building, consulting, negotiation and facilitation skills.
- Expert knowledge of Human Resource organisational policies and practices.
- Strategic business knowledge and understanding.
- An OD background or blend would be ideal
- Ability to Work independently
- Manage team/stakeholders and experience in getting buy-in from executives
- Real culture champion, super positive and super resilient
- Open to new ways of doing things
- Open to working in ambiguity and real problem-solving
