As we continue to expand, we're looking for for a true generalist, with a passion and talent for award interpretation, performance management, policy writing, payroll auditing, HRIS and Payroll systems knowledge, workers compensation and workplace health and safety. Our HR Consultant Team is dedicated to providing a comprehensive range of services designed to enhance the efficiency and compliance of our clients human resources operations. We deliver tailored solutions to meet their unique needs, and ensure we are asking all the right questions to ensure we are providing comprehensive advice.
Key Responsibilities:
• Providing expert advice on Award coverage and interpreting awards for clients.
• Offering general Human Resource and Industrial Relations advice.
• Assisting clients with managing absenteeism, performance issues, and serious misconduct.
• Acting as the in-house HR Manager for our regular clients, handling all HR queries, performance reviews, and salary adjustments.
• Sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
• Developing policies and procedures.
• Issuing employment contracts.
• Conducting payroll audits – some are simple, some are extensive over a long period of time
• Testing payroll systems to ensure that the awards and pay conditions are being interpreted correctly.
• Assisting our clients with their Workers Compensation claims.
Our Ideal Candidate:
• Minimum 5 years of Human Resource experience.
• Proficiency in collaborating with clients to understand their needs and suggest effective solutions.
• Has a strong understanding of Industrial Awards. We don’t expect you to know all awards by heart, however confidently reading and interpreting awards is essential.
• Competence in using HRIS or Payroll systems.
• Previous experience auditing KeyPay and Employment Hero will be highly advantageous.
• Basic understanding of payroll processing concepts.
• Exceptional customer focus.
• Outstanding time management and organizational skills.
