About the role
This is a pivotal role in a lean HR team. Key responsibilities are:
- End to end recruitment - placing advertising, telephone screening, arranging interviews, conducting VEVO checks, referencing, notifying existing staff of internal opportunities, etc.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and off-boarding.
- Maintain human resources records by recording new hires, transfers, terminations, changes in job classifications, merit increases, leave entitlements, etc. in our digital HRIS system, Employment Hero.
- Review fortnightly payroll via our external payroll supplier, Employment Innovations.
- Providing support with the calculations and processes for the payment of commissions and bonuses.
- Ad hoc HR admin tasks - HR related documentation and reporting, creating contracts and contract variations, preparing various HR letters and position descriptions, supporting with yearly WGEA and employee engagement survey assessment, preparing for brand audits, etc.
About you
- Bachelor of Human Resources Management or equivalent is desirable.
- Strong MS Office skills.
- Experience in using Employment Hero and/or EI is highly desirable.
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines
- Full Australian driving licence is required.
