HR / Payroll Coordinator
Air Diffusion is a large South Australian-based wholesaler and manufacturer of Air Conditioning products with ten locations around Australia.
Located in Lonsdale, we are seeking a Full-time Human Resources and Payroll Coordinator to join our Team. The successful candidate will work alongside the Finance Manager in processing payroll, employee onboarding, award compliance and the management of superannuation, Workcover & OHS. The HR Coordinator/Payroll will also be responsible for overseeing the full employee lifecycle, in addition to contributing to the development and review of HR policies and procedures.
Your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Manage end to end fortnightly payroll for employees.
- Ensure all statutory payroll, superannuation and HR compliance requirements are achieved
- Assisting in the end-to-end recruitment process for professional and support staff including drafting and posting of advertisements;
- Drafting of new and existing position descriptions;
- Drafting and updating policies and procedures;
- Coordinate the onboarding of all new staff, including inductions, ordering assets (mobile phones, etc.), setting up desks and offices;
- Manage leave requests;
- Coordinate performance and salary review process;
- WHS and RTW coordination;
- Provide advice and support to Partners and management on performance management issues;
- Monthly HR related reports;
- HR project related tasks.
- Maintaining accurate employee documents and updating employees file records
- Prepare EOM/EOY/ Monthly reconciliations in conjunction with Finance Department.
Requirements for the role:
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems and processes.
- Proficiency in computer skills.
- Understanding of Modern Awards in payroll.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Previous experience in manufacturing payroll is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and can liaise with relevant internal stakeholders
- Be a team player
- Have a passion for HR and be willing to learn
This role will suit candidates with around 2 to 5 years' experience gained previously, in a similar role.
