The Patriot group are on the hunt for a dynamic and adaptable HR Coordinator administer HR processes across their manufacturing, sales, service, apparel and film production business units. With no two days the same, you enjoy being out on the floor building rapport with the wider team and have a genuine interest in immersing yourself in the business to support managers in all things HR. Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, the HR Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring Fair Work compliance across the employee lifecycle with a focus on best practice. In addition, they will be accountable for:
- Coordinating recruitment campaigns with hiring managers with a focus on candidate care
- Onboarding, Induction and Offboarding of employees
- Coordinating and facilitating training solutions aligned with business priorities, including liaising with RTO’s and TAFE
- Coordination, administration, and record keeping of all HR and employee documentation
- Supporting leaders in employee meetings and business communications including performance management, disciplinary meetings and change management initiatives
- Providing support to the Finance team for processing of weekly payroll
- General office and administration duties as required such as arranging events and booking travel
- Promoting and driving a Zero Harm culture while ensuring adherence to WHS policies and procedures
About you
You are a proactive person who can independently coordinate and administer activities throughout the employee lifecycle. Your natural ability to positively influence others allows you to quickly establish yourself as a trusted supporter of both managers and employees. Upholding integrity and confidentiality at all times, you'll thrive in this dynamic role where your contributions make a real difference. Ideally, you will have the following skills and experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a HR Coordinator, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Formal Human Resources qualifications
- Proficient working knowledge of MSOffice, G Suite, TANDA (or similar), MYOB and XERO (preferred)
- The ability to create a positive culture of employee engagement, collaboration, and team spirit
- Knowledge of WH&S requirements within a trades based business
