The Business operates over three farm sites, comprising over 50 hectares of hydroponically grown strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries, producing premium quality fresh berries for the Australian domestic market.

Role
We are currently seeking a HR Officer to cover a minimum 6 month maternity leave, with the potential for the role to evolve post-contract. This is the perfect role to transition back to or out of work, gain some experience, or just if you're seeking a change. Flexi hours to full time available, choose what suits you.
Primary Responsibilities
- Recruitment and onboardings- manage end to end the recruitment process including advertisements, screenings, interviews, and offers. Coordinate new hire inductions and ensure a smooth and complaint onboarding.
- Employee Relations- assist managers and supervisors to address employee inquiries or concerns. Conduct HR related investigations as required. Be able to build positive relationships amongst employees and other managers.
- Data management- maintain accurate and up to date employee files; audit records as required. Experience in award interpretation highly beneficial.
- Workers compensation- oversee workers compensation claims from start to finish including lodging claims, following up, and creating RTW plans in conjunction with managers.
- Contribute to HR and staffing projects and initiatives in conjunction with other managers as required, priorities will change throughout the season.
Ideal candidate will
- A qualification in HR would be advantageous but significant work experience will be sufficient
- Have proven exposure to HR/IR/WHS including work cover/workers comp
- Able to maintain confidential and sensitive information
- Possess organisational and communication skills
- Successful applicant will be able to develop practical solutions for HR related challenges
