The Role
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes, including job descriptions, advertising, and interviews
- Manage recruitment and selection, ensuring optimal staffing levels
- Supervise onboarding and contribute to onboarding procedure development
- Generate reports, maintain employee records, and implement training programs
- Provide guidance on HR policies, projects, and procedures
- Foster positive employee relations, balancing moral considerations and business objectives
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and policies, resolving complex issues
- Coordinate safety initiatives, manage bi-weekly salaries, review working conditions
- Schedule and conduct quarterly reviews, reporting to management with HR metrics
About You
- Mandarin proficiency is essential
- 3+ years working in a HR Officer function
- Extensive background in HR within the retail industry
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Strong relationship-building skills and practical problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in payroll, awards interpretation, allowances, etc.
- In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Ability to work independently, exercising sound judgment and initiative
