  • $180,000 - $190,000 + superannuation.

Your New Role:

You'll join a humble, friendly IT team and be a critical resource within their People Systems team. You'll report to a highly experienced Head of Applications and will be their 2IC. You'll have a clear progression path to continue growing with the company. You'll be heavily business facing and will bring broad People systems experience that allow you to work closely with business stakeholders to identify, test and implement solutions that solve business needs. You'll be a proactive business partner who can understand business operations and suggest features/changes or new technologies to enhance user experience and internal productivity.

You will

  • Act as the key liaison across People & Culture teams to plan/execute changes to people systems in response to business needs and requirements;
  • Collaborate with other business functions to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring system stability and reliability;
  • Oversee the implementation and updates of any new systems/modules, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems, user training, and addressing system issues and deficiencies;
  • Develop and deploy an ongoing training strategy for users;
  • Collaborate with vendors to address technical issues, implement updates, and optimize system functionality;
  • Establish and maintain data governance processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data. Ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations, industry standards, and internal policies;
  • Assist the Business in leveraging data analytics to provide insights and support data-driven decision-making within the HR function;
  • Implement and enforce robust security measures to safeguard HRIS data;
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, making proactive recommendations for systems enhancements and upgrades; and
  • Managing projects end-to-end to ensure the efficient running of the business.

Your Skills & Experience

Ideally you'll have

  • Strong experience in a similar People Systems Lead, HRIS Manager or similar people systems role with strong end to end experience;
  • A strong understanding of HR systems architecture and HR processes across the whole employment lifecycle (experience with Chris21 or UKG Workforce products highly advantageous);
  • Experience in conducting gap analysis on existing processes and potential alternatives;
  • Strong experience in using Agile methodologies to successfully deliver HRIS projects;
  • Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and recommend solutions to challenging issues;
  • Extensive experience in the operational management of complex applications in a challenging technical and business environment;
  • Proven ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels and articulate solutions; and
  • Above all else, you will have a humble, kind, friendly and trustworthy personality, with excellent listening skills. You will have the ability to see outside the box and be proactive, self-motivated and enthusiastic.
