TYB is seeking a Payroll/HR Officer to work with our company.
The ideal candidate must be a dynamic self-starter, work competently with spreadsheets, project templates and operational templates and be capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

The role:
TYB is seeking a Payroll/HR Officer to work with our company.
The ideal candidate must be a dynamic self-starter, work competently with spreadsheets, project templates and operational templates and be capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Process employee payroll data on a daily, weekly and fortnightly basis and produce regular reports.
- Maintain records of personnel-related data (payroll, personal information, leave, productivity etc.) and ensure compliance with all employment regulations.
- Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance where required.
- Support the recruitment/hiring process by sourcing candidates, performing background checks, assisting in shortlisting, interviewing, issuing employment contracts etc.
- Be responsible for sourcing external/contract labour where required to fill temporary needs.
- Assist supervisors in performance management procedures
- Perform orientations, onboarding and update records with new hires
- Produce and submit reports on HR activity and project labour productivity.
- Assist in ad-hoc HR projects, like collection of employee feedback
- Serve as internal point-of-contact for benefits and payroll questions
- Administer various forms of employee leave
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates
- Maintain employee handbook, code of conduct, and other policies
- Manage workers compensation claim processes and rehabilitation.
- Support the annual compensation review process, providing benchmarking data and recommendations to management
- Assist other accounting functions and processes where and when required.
- Liaise with all departments and management on payroll policies, processes and reports.
- Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices
- Strong ability in using MS365 Office (especially Excel, Word and Sharepoint)
- Knowledge of MYOB software.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle data with confidentiality
- Good organizational and time management skills
