About the role
We are seeking a career motivated Finance Assistant to join our dynamic team at our ANZ office in North Lakes, Qld. Reporting to the Singapore-based Asia Pacific Finance Manager, the Finance Assistant role acts with a high a degree of independence.  The position is primarily responsible for the following:

• Accounts Receivable. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounts receivable cycle, from invoice generation to payment collection, and perform account reconciliations.
• Accounts Payable. Process and verify supplier invoices, schedule payments, and manage expense claims. Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate records.
• Payroll. Process the fortnightly payroll for the small ANZ team. Includes setting up new employees, managing employee balances, and final payments for departing employees. 
• Bonus Payments. Process commissions and refunds for external consultants.    
• General. You will be involved in supporting general activities such as cashflow reporting and budget analysis, expense claims, and employee data.

Skills & Experience

• Strong numeric and financial calculation abilities.
• Payroll experience and on/offboarding employees through payroll systems.
• AR and AP experience essential.
• Proficient with accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
