The position requires:
- At least one year of experience in a Payroll position or HR Background
- Experience with MYOB Account Right Payroll
- Intermediate to advanced skills with Excel
- Experience in Health, Safety & Environmental desirable.
Duties will require:
- Weekly payroll processing
- Recruitment & onboarding
- Maintaining employee records
- Experience in complying with relevant legislation and regulations (e.g. Superannuation guarantee, Australian Taxation Office, National Employment Standards, STP reporting & Coal Board Long Service Leave)
- Liaising with staff and management on payroll related queries
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail and highly organised
- Managing apprenticeships
- Ordering uniforms & stock control
- Maintaining Iso Accreditations for HSE (audits and documentation)
