About Us
Ditchfield is a construction company with offices located in the Newcastle/Hunter Valley and Mid North Coast areas of NSW. Due to the continued success and steady growth of the business we are seeking to engage an experienced HSE Advisor with civil or mining project experience to assist in the safe and efficient delivery of our projects, and continued development of our safety culture in line with our ‘Work Safe, Home Safe’ philosophy.
Your Next Opportunity
This role will be Project based on site in the Hunter Valley and will provide support to the onsite project team with planning, coordination and implementation of HSE policies, guidelines and procedures.
Working five days a week, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with the established Ditchfield team while maintaining and excellent work life balance.
About you
- Certificate IV OHS/WHS (or higher qualification)
- Previous experience in a construction or mining environment
- Above average computer skills in report writing, and competent in MS Office programmes
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- 5+ years experience in a similar role
- Current First Aid
- Drug and Alcohol screening certificate
- Certificate IV Training and Assessment (desirable)
- Return to Work Coordinator
- Incident Investigation Training (ICAM, Taproot or similar)
