HSE Systems Manager - Technical

Our client is experiencing exciting change and ongoing growth and is seeking a consultative and technical expert in HSE systems and software to join its high-performing H&S leadership team. This role is integral to successfully leading and delivering continuous improvements in the group’s health and safety systems and software.
  
Reporting to the Group Head of HSE, your responsibilities will include;

• Design and management of the group’s international framework of HSE systems including crisis and event management, chemical management, in-vehicle motoring, lone worker, auditing tool, SharePoint and contractor management software.
• Driving continuous improvement and initiatives in health & safety technology.
• Data analytics, insights, reporting and database development.
• Proven experience in successfully servicing multiple stakeholders within a large, high-risk, complex setting. 
• Providing training and support to users on H&S technology applications and tools.
• Working in a dynamic and changing environment.

To be considered for this position, you will have;

• Formal tertiary qualifications in IT, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Health & Safety qualifications are also highly desirable.
• Previous experience implementing and managing HSE software.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel and Power BI.
• Experience within energy, oil & gas, mining, mining services or heavy infrastructure sectors.
• A genuine passion for Health and Safety best practices.
