About the Role

As a Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, environment, and quality across our operations. This autonomous role is ideal for a proactive professional who excels in both office and field environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage WH&S, Environment, and Quality Management Systems.
• Ensure Safety Management Plans and SWMSs are in place for all projects.
• Undertake site inspections to ensure adherence to requirements.
• Conduct toolbox presentations for health and safety s and accident prevention.
• Investigate accidents or incidents to discover causes and recommend prevention measures.
• Manage workers compensation claims, rehabilitation and suitable return to work plans 
• Provide regular reporting to management. 
• Maintain schedule for machinery and plant maintenance.
• Contribution to the WHSEQ documentation for tender submissions.

Knowledge/Experience/Skills:

• Certificate IV or diploma in occupational health & safety.
• Familiarity with ISO 45001, 9001, and 14001 standards including document control and system audit activities.
• Experience in maintenance of Quality systems, including policy and procedure development and review.
• Experience in incident/non-conformance investigation.
• Experience as a Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building relationships with team members, management, and customers. 
• Preferably experience in a construction environment.
• Current driver’s licence.
