Warroo Game Meats is looking for a full-time Human Resource Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will assist our General Manager in overseeing all aspects of Human Resources within our company. As a Human Resource Cooridnator for us, your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Assist General Manager in the recruitment process by coordinating candidate communication, issuing employment packs, and ensuring timely completion of paperwork;
- Prepare employment contracts and facilitate their execution;
- Coordinate the onboarding and training processes for new employees, including training coordination in the meat factory;
- Manage HR files, employment records, probation reviews, appraisals, compliance registers, and training records.
- Support GM in HR planning, employee relations, and performance management processes;
- Assist in remuneration reviews, analyze compensation data, benchmark against industry standards, and facilitate related communications;
- Collaborate on strategies for succession planning, career development, and employee retention if required;
- Contribute to the development and review of HR policies and procedures tailored to the operations of the meat processing plant;
- Complete HR administrative tasks and offer general support to the headoffice;
- Stay updated on relevant legislation, awards, collective agreements, employment contracts, wage systems, and dispute settlement procedures, providing interpretation and guidance as needed.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree or higher is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience is required.
- Understanding of employee relations and employment laws is preferred.
- Ability to effectively communicate with a wide audience and individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
