Kresta Holdings Limited (KHL) was established over 50 years ago and is a leading window covering retailer in Australia and New Zealand. KHL includes iconic brands such as Kresta Blinds and Vista Blinds. The group specializes in Curtains, Blinds, Shutters and Awnings.
We currently have a full-time HR Officer position available for our head office base in Brisbane QLD. This role with a highly potential extension of a permanent role. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their capabilities and progress their career.
Core responsibilities will include:
- Support in the implementation and maintenance of effective HR strategies and initiatives
- Assist with updating HR policies and procedures
- Coordinate recruitment and selection process
- Support onboarding process for new employees and contractors
- Assist with all HR functions including but not limited to development and training, performance management and employee relations
- Update and maintain employee personnel filing
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including systems and reporting
- Provide support to enquires from employees in a timely manner
The ideal candidate will have;
- Have a good understanding of Awards, Fair Work and relevant legislation
- 8 years of experience in HR
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Accuracy in processing high volume and attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team and meet deadlines
