This position works closely with the HR Manager who holds responsibility for the People Strategy of the organisation and is supported by the CEO.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Assist with recruitment- recruitment advertisements, review candidates to shortlist and conduct phone interviews
  • Manage on boarding and off boarding process
  • Draft contracts and letters for new and existing employees
  • Be first point of contact for any general HR/payroll queries and manage HR mailbox
  • Manage/coordinate payroll with our external party
  • Maintain a relationship with employees and external stakeholders
  • Assist with customer service calls
  • Maintain and update personnel files 
  • Assist with any policy and legislation changes 
  • Assist with Employee engagement/ team bonding activities
  • Manage monthly compliance training

About you: 

  • Tertiary qualified in business/HR or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills and highly service oriented.
  • Knowledge of current employment legislation.
  • Able to confidently convey ideas and information both verbally and in writing in a clear and interesting way which meets the needs of target audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and exposure to HRIS or similar systems.
  • Professional and confidential approach to responsibilities.
