As a key member of the Human Resources team, you will work closely with the broader HR team to deliver on a range of topical initiatives. You will assist the HR Business Partner in day to day HR operations for a specific client group. In addition, you will be involved in the implementation of different change initiatives and the delivery of key projects.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Assist business leaders across all areas of HR including performance/conduct management, recruitment, retention and engagement
- Provide advisory support to managers on employee relations and performance issues
- Help in interpreting, advising, and applying HR policies and relevant legislation
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives as directed by the HR Business Partner
- Support the HR Business Partner in organizational development and change management initiatives
- Facilitate HR-related training sessions as required
- Maintain up-to-date HR records and reports
In order to be successful in this role you have:
- A tertiary HR qualification or equivalent relevant experience
- Confidence in managing high volume ER case work
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- An understanding of Australian employment legislation, Health & Safety and HR best practice
