Compass Group is a world leader in catering and support services. We are currently recruiting a People Services Advisor to join our National People Services Team, providing critical HR support to our many operations nation-wide.
The Position
- Supporting our line Managers by providing customer-focussed HR support and advice to managers that aligns and adheres to organisational policies, procedures and legal requirements.
- This includes award and agreement interpretation, policy advice, employee grievance support, performance management support, absence management and other HR generalist tasks.
- Coach line managers on how to engage, develop, reward and retain their employees
- Reporting to the HR People Services Manager, you will also contribute towards team HR projects
- Collaborate with the broader HR team to ensure a seamless delivery to all stakeholders
The Person
- Qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Broad range of generalist HR experience, within a workforce that is unionised
- Demonstrable experience in Awards and Enterprise Agreements interpretation
- Previous experience in grievances, performance management, and complaint investigation
- Experience in navigating a variety of HRIS or HRMS and reporting systems
- Proactive, well organised, and can work autonomously in an unsupervised environment
- A broad range of influencing skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders
