The Role:
- Work intimately with managers/ team leaders/ supervisors to guide and support them with the people management requirements of their business operations including:
- Attracting and recruiting quality staff;
- Developing appropriate people development roadmaps for respective business areas;
- Providing appropriate HR levers, practises and initiatives (including performance management, training and development, coaching and counselling) to optimise productivity and outcomes for their respective business areas; and
- Promoting the DCA values, culture and work ethic to achieve the company's and the business unit's vision and mission.
- Critical to the success of this role is the ability to work in close partnership with line management to understand the needs of their business operations and to identify the appropriate levers in the people management discipline that can assist them with driving performance and outcomes.
- Seeking both seasoned professionals and more recent graduates/HR practitioners for more than one role in our growing team.
- You have a tertiary qualification in the human resource or human capital management discipline from a recognised institution, and/or will have relevant industry experience in the areas listed below.
- You can demonstrate commercial experience in a number of the following areas:
- General HR administration – recruitment, position description generation, on-boarding and induction.
- Successfully dealing and working with people at various levels.
- Counselling, coaching and/or training.
- Performance management to maximise outcomes.
- Experience with managing compliance with HR legislation
- You can demonstrate any number of these qualities and competencies:
- Competency with Human Resources tools including – Applicant Tracking Systems and Learning Management Systems,
- Ability to liaise, consult effectively and develop positive relationships with a wide range of associates
- Ability to identify and capitalise on ongoing opportunities for service improvement, development initiatives and business growth.
- Adaptability and a learning and growth mindset to cope with constantly shifting environment and conditions.
- Ability to identify and capitalise on ongoing opportunities for service improvement, development initiatives and business growth.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PDF, PowerPoint and various communications' software tools/applications.
