Manage the delivery of social infrastructure projects in NSW

We have an opportunity for a Project Manager with solid construction experience to join our team in Sydney, to help deliver our Social Infrastructure (Childcare, Swim School and/or Medical Centres) projects across New South Wales. These projects support our commitment to community development and are mainly situated within Stockland’s master planned communities.
The Opportunity - About the Role
Reporting to the QLD/NSW Social Infrastructure lead, you will provide project management expertise throughout project lifecycles, and will initially focus on Childcare Centre projects and later expand into other key Social Infrastructure projects. You will be working collaboratively with our Development teams during planning and design phases, be responsible for detailed design and tendering, and oversee delivery of projects to practical completion.
Ensure projects are scoped, designed, built and delivered on time, budget and to required quality specification
Concurrently manage multiple projects at various stages of the construction lifecycle
Achieve construction milestones across multiple projects in the Social Infrastructure portfolio
Assist in the preparation of procurement strategies as directed by the QLD/NSW Social Infrastructure lead
Facilitate the preparation of cost plans with our cost planning and broader project teams.
Provide specialist project management tools, resources and advice to support large and complex projects through to completion
Demonstrate innovation to create financial and ESG benefits for the portfolio
Establish partnering relationships with relevant external operators, contractors, consultants and suppliers to facilitate cost, value and/or program efficiencies to Stockland
Ensure project priorities are clearly established and frequently communicated with all key stakeholders
About You
Solid construction/built form experience, ideally 10+ years
Experience in design and construction management of social infrastructure projects (Childcare, Swim School and/or Medical Centres) or other similar commercial or retail projects is highly desirable
Proven understanding of project management best practice, tools and techniques
Proven understanding of legal requirements and obligations in the administration of contracts
Strong relationship management, communication and influencing skills
Safety, sustainability, and process improvement focused
People leader with the ability to train and develop
