We are currently seeking applications for a HR Support Officer to join the People & Performance team at the Department of Treasury & Finance for an initial period of 2 years.
Remuneration / Classification: ASO3 $66,590 - $70,968 per annum
Department:
The Department of Treasury and Finance is the lead agency for economic, social and financial policy outcomes. We play a vital role in providing financial services to the community and economic and fiscal policy advice to the Government of South Australia.
Human Resources (HR) provides advice and consultancy services on HR management and development, industrial employee relations matters including HR policy and process, job design and recruitment, leave, restructure process, flexible working, performance management and more. HR also provides case management services for unplaced/excess employees, and a range of compliance related reporting activities.
About the opportunity:
Reporting to the Team Leader, HR Support, the HR Support Officer is the contact point for branches, advising on operational HR matters and processes including:
- Processing HR related documentation.
- Placing vacancies on IWorkforSA and other media platforms.
- Administering HR related systems such as Timewise.
- Coordinating a range of compliance and audit activities.
- Providing advice on HR processes and employment including leave and employee entitlements.
- Providing system reports and updating information on CHRIS21.
- Processing of invoices.
About you:
To be successful in the role, you will be highly organised with excellent communication skills.
You will have demonstrated experience in:
- Providing administrative support to a dedicated workgroup.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- An understanding and/or experience in HR related processes and systems.
