Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, our Human Resources Manager will support the leadership team and our people by providing consistent guidance and support on all relevant HR / IR / ER initiatives and issues, as well as developing, implementing and maintaining our Human Resources framework and infrastructure. This is a unique opportunity to develop the HR function and transform it to a best practice.
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
- Strong experience in a senior Human Resources role within a dynamic, progressive environment.
- The ability to identify, design and implement general HR strategies and solutions to achieve agreed outcomes relating to: organisational design, organisational change, performance management, workforce and strategic planning and other generalist HR activities inclusive of effective negotiation and consultation with staff.
- Provide high level, timely and professional advice to senior managers and staff, in interpreting and implementing human resource policies, awards and legislation.
- Experience in delivering a high level of proactive and reactive employee relations support and advice to managers and staff .
- Experience in managing, developing and coaching staff including at an executive and senior management level.
- Sound understanding of the payroll function.
- Contemporary knowledge on relevant industry standards and HR best practice trend
A degree level qualification in Human Resources or Business together with a deep understanding of the Fair Work Act and Australian employment frameworks is essential.
