People Officer

Reporting to the Executive Manager, People and Culture you will be responsible for being the first point of contact for matters relating to People & Culture policies, procedures and relevant industrial agreements.  You will work closely with members of the broader People Team to provide high quality and seamless service delivery, advice and support with a strong focus on recruitment.  

This position can be based in either Burnie or Launceston.

• A relevant qualification and previous experience working in a similar role.
• Previous experience supporting the workers compensation function is desirable but not essential.
• Strong computer skills and a high level of attention to detail and accuracy &;
• Demonstrated time management and organisation skills with ability to prioritise and meet deadlines

A Working With Vulnerable Peoples Check and National Police Check, or willingness to obtain is a condition of employment.
