The role of HR Officer will have a major focus on HR generalist activities such as:
- Consult and counsel all levels of management, salaried and hourly employees
- Provide general HR advice and guidance to both blue and white-collar employees
- Offer performance management and disciplinary action advice
- Manage end-to-end recruitment campaigns
- Oversee Employee Opinion Surveys and action planning
- Lead new employee onboarding and induction programs
- Facilitate various HR-related training packages
- Maintain employee personnel files and HR information systems to ensure data accuracy
- Partner with HR Service Centres, Compensation & Benefits, and Payroll teams to assist in the administration and support of employee remuneration
About You
To be successful in this position, you will need to possess:
- Prior Human Resource experience working in a generalist capacity (preferably within a logistics warehousing environment)
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management, a business-related discipline, or a relevant job-related field
- Sound knowledge of Australian Human Resources practices
- Organised and efficient work practices with the ability to prioritise your workload and multitask
- Confidentiality, discretion, and sound judgment
- Effective interpersonal (both written and verbal) communication skills
- Intermediate-Advanced MS Office Skills
