Sunshine Sugar is a sugar milling and refining company located in the Northern Rivers of New South Wales. Identified as one of the largest agricultural and manufacturing sectors in the region; we directly employ over 400 people with a further 2500 employed indirectly to support the local industry. A key member of the Corporate Team, this role will focus on and lead our Training and Development team. The Training and Development Team is responsible for identifying, developing and delivering a structured training program ensuring all employees are competent in their roles.
This role will at times also provide general HR support and undertake development projects that are aimed at increasing employee engagement and motivation to positively contribute to our strategic plan and continuous improvement culture.
To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate your knowledge and experience in,
- Leading and guiding the Training and Development function.
- Mentoring and guidance.
- General Human Resource functions.
- Developing and maintaining functional relationships.
- Influence and inspire with commitment and enthusiasm.
Desirable
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in training and development or similar field.
- A current NSW Driver’s Class C License or equivalent.
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment.
