Ideally you will have a background as an HR all-rounder with strong administrative and communication skills, and you will thrive working in small, fast paced and outcomes focussed HR team.
The successful candidate boast skills and experience in:
- Payroll administration (e.g. being the internal point of contact to our third party payroll provider and to our salary packaging provider)
- Recruitment (creating/refining PDs, writing job ads, screening candidates, and assisting hiring managers with placing roles)
- Workers compensation and related functions (e.g. rateable returns, RTW plans, case coordination, remuneration & expenses)
- Employee engagement and maintaining great organisational culture
- Sound understanding of modern awards and the ability to read and interpret the relevant awards in our organisation
- Working to audit trail across all functions of your role.
- A can-do attitude
- Attention to detail
- Ownership of your tasks
- Great communication skills (written and verbal)
- The ability to ask questions and seek to clarify
- A kind and caring approach
- Courage to undertake challenges
- IT literacy in Windows and MS365 environments
Experience working with Employment Hero is preferred but not essential.
Experience in a disability environment is not essential. The successful candidate must obtain and maintain a NDIS Worker Screening Check.
This is a hands on role and organisational requirements are such that it is a full contact role. There is opportunity for flexibility in start/finish times. WFH is able to be considered up-to one day per week only.
