Job description

About ACRRM

ACRRM is a distinguished specialist medical institution accredited by the Australian Medical Council (AMC) for setting professional standards in training, assessment, certification, and continuous professional development in general practice. With a dedicated workforce of over 200 employees and a membership exceeding 6000, ACRRM is committed to promoting the Rural Generalist profession and delivering sustainable, high-quality health services.

About the role

In this dynamic Generalist HR role reporting to the HR Manager, you'll play a crucial part in shaping the future by building leadership capability through the development of innovative leadership programs and partnerships with external delivery experts. You will be at the forefront of managing the Learning Management System (LMS) and Human Resource Information System (HRIS), ensuring these tools are optimised to support HR functions. Additionally, you'll have the exciting opportunity to design and implement impactful Wellness programs, fostering a healthy and engaged workforce. This role promises a diverse and stimulating work environment where your contributions will directly enhance the business and its people.

  • Establish and maintain an effective, HRIS-integrated Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Develop and manage operationally aligned learning programs and training calendar for employees.
  • Coordinate the College’s response to the Managing Psychosocial Hazards at Work Code of Practice.
  • Foster continuous improvement and professional development aligned with ACRRM’s Leadership Competency Framework.
  • Collaborate with the employee assistance provider and relevant agencies to promote mental health and wellbeing resources.
  • Implement training sessions to help staff understand holistic wellbeing, create self-care plans, and manage workloads and stressors.
  • Contribute to enhancing employer branding and EVP.
  • Administer workers' compensation and return-to-work processes.

About you

You will ideally hold tertiary qualifications in HR, or a related field. With demonstrable experience in developing and delivering Learning and Development (L&D) programs and workshops, you bring an in-depth knowledge and practical application of leadership frameworks. Experience with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and Learning Management Systems (LMS) platforms is preferred. Your previous experience in developing and implementing wellbeing best practices is essential. Strong written and verbal communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills are crucial to your success.

As a hands-on HR generalist, you are passionate about enhancing workplace culture through employee engagement, leadership, and professional development. Working within a small team, you thrive in an environment where flexibility is key, willingly adapting to meet the evolving needs of the business. Your proactive and versatile approach ensures that you are always ready to contribute wherever needed, making a significant impact on the organisation.

Why MOVE?

Joining ACCRM offers a unique blend of autonomy, collaboration, and growth, making it an ideal career move. As an HR Generalist, you’ll have the freedom to own your role, influence decisions, and specialise in areas you're passionate about, while working within a supportive, team-oriented environment. The company’s flexible work policy, allowing you to work from home two days a week, supports a healthy work-life balance. With ACCRM's ongoing growth and expansion plans, there are ample opportunities for career advancement and involvement in dynamic projects, ensuring a varied, engaging, and progressive professional experience.
