About the role
In this dynamic Generalist HR role reporting to the HR Manager, you'll play a crucial part in shaping the future by building leadership capability through the development of innovative leadership programs and partnerships with external delivery experts. You will be at the forefront of managing the Learning Management System (LMS) and Human Resource Information System (HRIS), ensuring these tools are optimised to support HR functions. Additionally, you'll have the exciting opportunity to design and implement impactful Wellness programs, fostering a healthy and engaged workforce. This role promises a diverse and stimulating work environment where your contributions will directly enhance the business and its people.
- Establish and maintain an effective, HRIS-integrated Learning Management System (LMS).
- Develop and manage operationally aligned learning programs and training calendar for employees.
- Coordinate the College’s response to the Managing Psychosocial Hazards at Work Code of Practice.
- Foster continuous improvement and professional development aligned with ACRRM’s Leadership Competency Framework.
- Collaborate with the employee assistance provider and relevant agencies to promote mental health and wellbeing resources.
- Implement training sessions to help staff understand holistic wellbeing, create self-care plans, and manage workloads and stressors.
- Contribute to enhancing employer branding and EVP.
- Administer workers' compensation and return-to-work processes.
About you
You will ideally hold tertiary qualifications in HR, or a related field. With demonstrable experience in developing and delivering Learning and Development (L&D) programs and workshops, you bring an in-depth knowledge and practical application of leadership frameworks. Experience with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and Learning Management Systems (LMS) platforms is preferred. Your previous experience in developing and implementing wellbeing best practices is essential. Strong written and verbal communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills are crucial to your success.
