ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently seeking to appoint a High Voltage Project Supervisor on a permanent basis in our NSW Field Service team. This is an excellent opportunity if you'd like hands-on project experience, with the support of some highly skilled leaders.
Specifically, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining project schedules
- Assisting with monthly reporting on active projects
- Coordination of customer documents
- Liaising with internal and external contractors, clients, and suppliers and ensuring documentation is consistent with the project management process
- Managing logistics with respect to projects you are responsible for
- Managing the flow of technical incoming and outgoing documentation
- Managing contract progress meetings
- Reporting on the health of projects
- Mitigating identified risks associated with your projects
- Management of subcontractors that include work scopes, schedule liaison, qualifications, insurances and licensing
- Additional duties as required
The position is based in Warabrook NSW and although office based will require travel to customer worksites. Whilst this will primarily be in NSW there will be situations that will require travel interstate.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Along with a hands-on approach to safety awareness and strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, you will need to demonstrate the following:
- Current Electrical license
- Experience working in project coordination / supervision
- Experience in supervising subcontractors
- Experience in liaising with suppliers
- Experience in delivering projects in a timely manner and on or better than budget
- Document control experience
- High competence in Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Project
- Ability to interpret contract documentation
- Adaptable to ever changing environments and circumstances
- Good report writing skills
- Good communication skills
- Good team player
It is a requirement for the applicant to have experience in managing large projects that involve High Voltage applications. A sound knowledge in High Voltage fundamentals and a construction background is also desirable.
It is essential that you will have excellent communication and organisation skills, as well as a strong attention to detail.
