The role with us
The HVAC Efficiency Senior Specialist position is a 'hands on' role and is responsible for introducing, coordinating, and maintaining energy efficiency initiatives in a range of network facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Analysing deficiencies with HVAC assets and undertaking 'hands on' corrective actions.
• Identification and rectification of issues in existing HVAC systems and their controls that have an adverse impact on energy consumption.
• Identification and design of new cost-effective projects to reduce energy consumption, incorporating innovative products and design options.
• Performing robust calculations to predict and verify energy savings from identified opportunities.
• Apply extensive trade experience to the broad aspects of HVAC systems, Refrigeration and DDC controls programming.
• Provide technical support to maintenance contractors & Facility managers.
• Some travel to regional / interstate sites required.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will have the following experience and qualifications:

• +10 years' experience as a tradesperson with Air Conditioning qualifications.
• Demonstrated experience in the broad aspects of HVAC systems, Refrigeration, Building Management Systems and DDC controls.
• Experience with Innotech, Siemens or Honeywell control systems will be highly regarded.
• Excellent fault finding & problem-solving skills.
• Comprehensive interpersonal skill to maintain collaborative relationship to work with both internal and external parties.
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly organized individual with a mindset to continuously improve repeated activities along with being extremely responsive towards our stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a rapidly changing environment.
