Australian-owned HVAC engineering and contracting firm, offering engineering from the design phase into construction for residential, commercial, and industrial projects, is seeking a Project Manager to join the team.
The Project Manager will report to the Construction Manager. They will be responsible for the development and implementation of contract delivery, liaising with estimating, design, and project management teams, development of tender documents and contract acceptance, workforce planning, resource allocation, scheduling, cash flow monitoring, and reporting for large and complex projects.

Responsibilities:
- Manage operational activities of multiple or large-scale projects
- Minimise exposure and mitigate risk across projects
- Ensure health and safety are strictly being adhered to
- Develop, maintain and manage client expectations and are met
- Progress reports monitoring time, cost, and quality
- Reviewing and maintaining project budgets and costs
- Coordination of plant and equipment for construction activities
- Operation progress of major construction scheduled targets
- Preparing and reviewing construction reports
- Commercial construction tenders, negotiations, and operations to project completion
- Accurate invoicing and claims request and monitoring of receivables
- Analyze profitability, revenue margins, and rates
- Manage, forecast, control, and report project financial performance
- Manage actual costs against approved costs
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the desired quality standard
Essential Skills:
- 2+ years experience working on commercial D & C projects.
- Project management capacity and technically competent in small to large commercial projects (Must have experience in $10 million plus projects)
- Read and understand complex, engineering, and construction drawings
- Advanced Excel skills including work scheduling and estimating
- Physical capability of assisting and directing on-site works
- Demonstrated understanding of workplace health and safety practices
- Superior financial management and reporting skills
- General site safety induction card (blue/white)
