We are seeking a highly experienced HVAC Service Supervisor who can effectively lead a team of technicians, ensure compliance with industry standards, and drive customer satisfaction through exceptional service delivery and strong stakeholder engagement.
Reporting directly to the Service Manager, the HVAC Service Supervisor oversees a team of 5-10 technicians and engages with key stakeholders including external and internal customers, service support staff, suppliers, subcontractors, and senior management.

About the role
- Lead and supervise a team of HVAC Technicians, providing guidance, support, and mentoring to ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Conduct thorough surveys of customer premises to assess HVAC and refrigeration systems, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and contractual obligations.
- Address customer concerns and complaints promptly and effectively, escalating issues when necessary to ensure resolution.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for repairs, replacements, upgrades, and other service offerings to existing clients.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and management to foster a positive working environment and enhance client satisfaction.
- Manage administrative tasks such as call reports, timesheets, and technician report tracking, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to maximise revenue and expand our client base.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed on mechanical equipment in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Optimise operational efficiencies through effective route planning, time management, and stock management practices.
- Provide regular reports on work progress and performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies for enhancement.
About You
You are a seasoned leader with a minimum of five years of experience in the HVAC mechanical industry, demonstrating a track record of success in team supervision and service delivery. Your strong communication skills enable you to effectively engage with both internal and external stakeholders, while your proactive approach to problem-solving ensures timely resolution of issues. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, where you can leverage your analytical abilities to drive process improvements and deliver continuous results. A valid driver's license and a solid understanding of Australian Standards relevant to HVAC equipment are essential for success in this role.
Your Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of field experience in the HVAC mechanical industry, with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Proven track record of driving process compliance and delivering high-quality service to clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Valid Driver's Licence and a solid understanding of relevant Australian Standards for HVAC equipment.
