Your new role
We are seeking a specialist IBM Middleware System Administrator to join our Canberra Defence Support Team. Our team supports various applications, including Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) applications, MS SharePoint, MS Dynamics, and Adobe products (AEM).
You will provide administration hosting of IBM Middleware suite of products such as DataPower, WAS, MQ Broker/IIB (ACE), MQ Series and ISIM/ISAM.
This role is based onsite in Canberra, ACT. There is also a rotating on-call roster.
Your skills and experience
- You are an IBM technology specialist with experience with Linux and one or more of the following – IBM Integration Bus (ACE), IB< MQ Series and IBM Datapower
- You have good communication skills and a customer focussed approach. You are personable and confident can easily change your approach to suit your audience.
- Added bonus is you have experience with full stack infrastructure, Websphere Application Server, IBM Security Identity Manager, IBM Security Access Manager, Scripting, Git source control, WebServices SOAP.
Due to the nature of the role, you hold a current Negative Vetting 1 (or higher) Australian Government security clearance.
