- Oversee IT asset lifecycle, ensuring accurate inventory and compliance
- Manage CMDB for IT service configurations and asset records
- Establish standards and controls over IT assets
- Document and approve configuration changes to maintain integrity
- Collaborate across teams for accurate asset information
- Contribute to process improvement and automation
- Identify and assess risks associated with IT assets
- Implement controls to prevent unauthorised changes and disruptions
- Simplify end-user device induction and enhance user experience
- Ensure IT asset management practices are integrated for user benefit
- Provide regular reports on IT asset status and Configuration changes
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies

- Degree qualification in either Information Technology or similar technical capacity, or equivalent work experience
- Strong experience in IT Asset management and asset life-cycle management
- Experience in maintaining CMDB (Configuration Management Database) or designated (software based) IT Asset Inventory
- Experience in monitoring and managing lifecycle of all IT devices and assets
- Experience with Software Asset Management tools, such as: Service Now, Microsoft SCCM and LanSweeper
- Strong data analysis and manipulation skills
- Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking
- Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail, coupled with effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Good understanding of Cloud Services and Cloud based IT Assets (specifically Azure Cloud Platforms)
- Experience across; ITIL Service Lifecycle, Stakeholder Management, Strategy, Planning, Road Maps, Leadership and Mentoring, Vendor Management
- Experience with Active Directory/Azure AD: Manage devices identity, users, & groups
- Experience ensuring device compliance with latest Windows security updates
- A qualification in ITIL and/or previous experience using ITIL at a practical level
- Strong breadth of experience in a technology services group within a large complex organisation and multi-sourced services environment
