Kogan People Solutions are delighted to be working with a leading provider of enterprise communication and customer experience management solutions. Our client specialises in creating state-of-the-art communications solutions for organisations in many industries. Their approach is to consult, design, and implement automation and artificial intelligence (AI). They utilise a wide range of cloud technologies to modernize and streamline customer contact centres, business inhouse communications and workflow process.
They now seek to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced IT Business Analyst. The aim of this role is to evaluate and implement the transformation of systems within their client businesses. The key outputs of the role are the effective delivery of successful IT projects which lead to the optimization of productivity, efficiency, and profitability for our clients.
Scope of the role:
The scope of this role includes project management. The scope also extends to staff and subcontractor management, analysis of current and future business and technology requirements, documenting, scoping and costing as well as implementation and training.
Reporting lines:
The role reports to the Head of Intelligent Automation.
Main Duties:
Reporting to the Head of Intelligent Automation, the main duties of this role include:
Consult with stakeholders to review and gather information in relation to existing systems and needs.
Analyse and document the current and future operational environment, including an in-depth gap analysis on existing data, systems, and businesses processes.
Gather business requirements using requirement workshops, document analysis, surveys, and business process descriptions.
Conduct detailed business analysis, task & workflow analysis, case study and scenario analysis, as required.
Identify options for potential solutions and assess them for both technical and business suitability.
Deliver the following documents/programs as needed:
Functional Specifications
Reporting Requirements
IT & Security Specification
Project plans with defined scope and outcome
Software configuration to meet business needs
Liaise with developer programmers/ code writers (both inhouse and outsourced)
Resolve production issues with developer programmers (both inhouse and outsourced)
Software pilots and Proof of Concept (POCs) when required.
Use effective and appropriate project management methodologies in delivery and control of individual projects.
Testing & Implementation
Conduct thorough testing, ensuring any issues are resolved prior to rollout.
Ensure that the final deliverables meet the required scope, functionality, and quality standards.
See implementation through to user sign-off.
Communication, Documentation & Training
Function as a central point of contact, information, and reference to all interfacing areas, providing high quality, timely and accurate information.
Serve as the conduit between the business needs and ICT developers (both inhouse, subcontracted and external as may be required). Provide direction and supervision as required.
Develop high quality documentation and training as required.

Solid qualifications, minimum appropriate relevant degree (or agreed alternative)
Relevant and updated industry Certifications and be keen to obtain others
Top client facing communication skills
Well-developed problem solving skills
Offer at least two to three, or more, years’ experience in similar BA roles.
Exposure to leading edge cloud storage solutions

Critical - Full unrestricted Australian Working Rights
Excellent salary in the range $70,000 to $90,000 plus superannuation, and great conditions, await the successful applicant.
