ABOUT THE BRANCH
The Internal Services Branch manages the Service Centre, application support, quality assurance and testing, minor projects, the Finance information environment and its supporting ICT technology.
The ICT Contract Management Team manages the EWE Managed Services ICT contract and provides high quality support to the department’s key strategic ICT Programs.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The successful applicant will be critical in the success of the department’s key ICT Services contracts as well as the ICTD Program Management Office (PMO). The ICT Contract Management Officer’s duties will include:
Delivering day-to-day Business As Usual (BAU) contract management activities by gaining a detailed understanding of the Electronic Work Environment (EWE) Managed Services Contract, including:
Performing monthly performance reviews
Treating the Contract’s complex financials
Delivering a variety of Program activities to ensure the Program goals are met such as;
Involvement in the Program Management Office, following instruction from and assisting stakeholders
Creating meetings and preparing draft minutes from appropriate governance forums
Maintaining records to accurately reflect the Program’s financial position.
Managing Program and Contract queries and escalating issues
Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with a range of stakeholders.

ELIGIBILITY ADVICE & CANDIDATE NOTES
Under section 22(8) of the Public Service Act 1999, employees must be Australian citizens to be employed in the Australian Public Service (APS) unless the Agency Head has agreed otherwise, in writing.
Successful applicants will be required to undergo the process to obtain and maintain, or continue to hold the required security clearance level for the role as indicated in the downloadable job pack. All Finance staff are required to have a minimum baseline security clearance prior to commencement.
This role is being advertised as both ongoing and non-ongoing. A role may be offered as either ongoing or non-ongoing subject to business needs and/or candidate preference. Where a non-ongoing position is offered, the role will be filled as a specified term vacancy for an initial period of up to 18 months. Specified term vacancies may be offered for a maximum of 18 months initially, and be extended up to a maximum period of three years.
