Corumbene Care is an aged care provider in the Derwent Valley, 30 minutes from Hobart CBD. We provide compassionate care in a range of services including community care, nursing, respite, residential services and more. The Scheduler is responsible for rostering a team of community support workers to deliver consumer care and support. Working in partnership with consumers and staff, the Scheduler ensures that shifts are allocated in a timely manner and with minimal disruption to consumer preferences and workforce availability
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Managing and maintaining Corumbene’s IT Hardware, including, but not limited to PC’s Laptops, Tablets and Phone. This includes the evaluation of equipment.
- Assist and ensure software updates for various software’s utilised are completed in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Assist users to become familiar and competent with both hardware and software utilised throughout Corumbene
- Liaise with HR Recruitment to ensure that staff are on-boarded correctly and in a timely manner in regards to ICT requirements of their roles.
- Ensure backups are completed daily, and be involved involvement in any restoring of data as required
- Be involved where appropriate in the implementation of new software.
- Work with users to improve data integrity, including how information is housed in folder structures
- Ensure a safe working environment at the Corumbene facility implementing and working within workplace health and safety requirements including the use of personal protective equipment as required and by adopting sound ergonomic practices.
The successful applicant will ideally have:
- Qualification on or relevant knowledge in ICT, Business & Administration
- Demonstrated high level verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to influence others to achieve ethical, effective and efficient best practise business practices
- Time management and prioritisations skills with the ability to respond to deliver objectives
- Intermediate / Advanced IT skills e.g. Microsoft Office Suite
- Provide assistance to staff on how to use ICT systems appropriately
- Assist the Leadership Team with various reports as required.
