ICT Support Engineer

Your global team:
The ICT Service Centre is globally organized within the ICT Operations and Core systems (OCS) team. The ICT OCS team is responsible for managing the international infrastructure, workplaces, network, collaboration tooling, cloud services, and asset management for the internal organization.
The ICT Service Centre consists of several teams around the work who work on the support of the local organization as well as on the support of the global organization. We align in the way of working and support each other were needed. Knowledge sharing is there for a very important aspect of team building.
Your Position:
You will be working within the Sydney office of Vanderlande as part of the global ICT Service Centre. Your key responsibility is to support the IT workplace and local infrastructure together with an international team. The team you are working with is located in other areas around the world so you will be responsible to support people in your respective time zone. You will be the onsite hands, eyes and ears for the ICT Specialists located in our HR in Veghel and support replacements of infrastructure hardware like Access point, servers, switches, etc. when needed.
Your scope therefor includes support of both the local organization as well as the international colleagues who try to reach you and require support.
Your profile:
As ICT Support Engineer can work very good on your own but can ask for help when needed. You are a team player with a positive attitude and work ethic. You are willing to take an extra step to support our employees. You understand that automation and continues improvements are part of a fast growing organization which can save time for both the employees and ICT and you can assist in these activities. You have strong communication skills both verbal and in writing.
Competences:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar job
- Knowledge of IT Service Management and related systems like TOPdesk
- Knowledge about Office 365, Intune, Active Directory, Windows 10/11 and SCCM or similar tooling
- Understanding of networking (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi) is beneficial
- Understanding of infrastructure (windows servers, VMWare, domains) is beneficial
- You are social, service oriented, customer friendly and have strong communications skills.
- You perform well on your own and can make use of international resources
