This client is leading entity in foreign exchange and are looking for a Level 1 IT Support engineer to join on a 12 month contract managing service desk requests from start to finish. They are looking for someone to start within 2 weeks with interviews to be conducted next week.
The Role:
- Play a key role in a global Service Desk team, taking ownership for the Service Desk during the allocated time in the 24-hour schedule.
- Manage all types of Service Desk requests, ensuring that all requests are logged appropriately, with all the relevant information and placed in the correct queues.
- Take ownership for Service Desk requests, seeing them through from start to finish.
- Document resolution steps within completed requests.
What you will bring:
- Tertiary level IT/computing qualification
- 3+ years’ experience in Support
- Strong Experience with Service Desk tools (eg, FreshService or JIRA Service Desk)
- Extensive experience with Microsoft O365, Intune
- Experience with MacOS and Apple Products.
